Red Cloud Raod

A couple of weekends ago we went camping off of Red Cloud Road. It was fun going somewhere different. On Saturday we we spent the day exploring the area. Russell and Cindy and Les and Melanie were with us. Here are some pictures of what we discovered.

We went out to a little wooden shack. Someone owns it and keeps it up.

There were bottles of fresh water and some canned goods.

They even had a guestbook for people to sign.

There was a noose hanging on the outside of the house (a warning perhaps). Melanie and Jeffery got silly.

We ventured out even further to another really cool sight. This is an old train trestle that is no longer used. Look closely and you can actually see the Salton Sea in the background at the base of the mountains.

Matt, holding Ryan, venturing out onto the trestle. Jeffery is not far behind.

Matt, Ryan, and Jeffery on the trestle. I was below, taking pictures.

Les and Melanie on the trestle.

Just some shots of the trestle. It actually looked much cooler in real life.

The boys at the base of the trestle. These didn't turn out very well, as you can see.

A couple of cool shots of a cliff against the clear blue sky:

It was a really fun day and a great weekend.
